Temba Wiseman Gola

Temba Wiseman Gola is the first born from a family of 4 brothers, of which 2 are late. 


He was born in Port Elizabeth and was raised by single mother who was a domestic worker as his father passed away when he was 12 years old.

He is happily married for 29 years to Nontsikelelo Gola and were blessed with 3 daughters, Nomathamsanqa, Lukhanyiso, Sibabalwe and granddaughter Gamelihle. 
He is a staunch member Seventh Day Adventist church. 

Gola's qualifications include: National Diploma in Public Administration, National Higher Diploma from Port Elizabeth Technikon, National Certificate in Human Resources from UNISA, National Certificate in Hospital Management from Wits University, Further Education and Training Certificate: Occupationally – Directed Education Training and Development Practices from ETDP SETA, MPA in 2000 with Nelson Mandela University and just completed PHD in Social Science in 2022 with Atlantic International University. 

He has worked for the Eastern Cape Department of Health as a security Officer for 10 years; worked for Health and Welfare in the Procurement section and later in Social Security; worked in the Department of Health in the Western Cape as Skills Development Facilitator for 2 years; Department of Justice and Constitutional Development as Area Court Manager for 12 years; and currently working for the South African Social Security Agency in the Eastern Cape as the District Head of Social Security for the Sarah Baartman district. 

His humble and poor background motivated him to contribute to poverty alleviation and to fight for equality as he firmly believes that we are created equally in the image of God.
